Self-piercing Twist-Tack attaches materials such as rubber, plastic, and thin-gauge aluminum to steel tubing, aluminum extrusion, or lightweight metal castings in one step. It punches hole in attachment and forms anchor cone in base metal. Fastening takes place when knurled section engages anchor cone with cutting, twisting, and wedging motion. Fastener achieves hundreds of pounds of withdrawal resistance when applied with compression riveter, single-impact air tool, or bench press.
