Remotely Control A/V
Equipment HiddenBehind Cabinet Doors!
Beamer FX and TV Beamer
Not everything you want to control with a remote is directly in your line of sight. But with a few affordable and easy-to-use products from Smarthome, your A/V components can respond as if they were directly in front of your face — even if you're in another room of the house! One of the most common questions we get from customers is how to control audio/video equipment hidden behind cabinet doors without having to keep the cabinets open all the time. Fortunately we have an all-in-one solution that handles that very task: the Hot Link Pro.
The Internal RF Adapter is one of the coolest solutions we've seen lately. It consists of a device that inserts into the battery compartment of any remote control that uses AA or AAA batteries. This converter senses the infrared codes that the remote sends out and converts them into radio frequency signals that travel through walls and doors. On the receiving end of the radio frequency signals is a compact, AC-powered receiver that you place in the same room with your A/V system. It picks up these signals, converts them back into infrared and beams them to your TV. Each command takes fractions of a second, with no perceptible delay.
